The quake was felt during an interview with the Prime Minister of Iceland, the video of which went viral on social media.

Iceland’s Prime Minister Catherine Jacob Duterte was giving an online interview when a sudden earthquake shook the door and wall, but the Prime Minister completed his interview instead of being frightened.

The quake measured 5.6 on the Richter scale and was centered in the southwestern region of Hafner.

The Prime Minister said, “Oh my God, there has been an earthquake. It doesn’t matter. This is Iceland. It keeps happening here.” After that, the Prime Minister continued his speech and answered questions.

After the interview, Prime Minister Catherine stated in a statement that she was “OK” and that she had not been harmed during the interview.
